FUNDACIÓN CETAQUA, CENTRO TECNOLÓGICO DEL AGUA, FUNDACIÓN PRIVADA has elaborated this privacy policy in order to inform you about the treatment of your personal data.

1. Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?

The processing of personal data collected through this website, as well as those collected as a result of the management of the requests you make, will be the responsibility of FUNDACIÓN CETAQUA, CENTRO TECNOLÓGICO DEL AGUA, FUNDACIÓN PRIVADA (hereinafter, “CETAQUA”), with Tax Identification Number G-64386626, registered in the Register of Private Foundations of the Generalitat de Catalunya under number 2.305 and with registered office in Barcelona, at Ctra. d’Esplugues, 75 (08940) Cornellà de Llobregat.

Simply visiting the website and browsing its different sections does not require you to provide us with any personal data or to register as a user. On the website (www.toolkit.resccue.eu) you can find different links to platforms and pages managed by third parties. CETAQUA assumes no responsibility for the processing of your data that is carried out on these pages.

2. For which purposes will your personal data be processed?

Main purpose: To manage the requests, queries or complaints that you make through the website, in order to process them internally and, where appropriate, to respond to them.

Likewise, if you provide your consent through the corresponding boxes, your personal data will be processed for the following additional purposes:

– To send you commercial information (by electronic, printed and/or telephone means) about CETAQUA, Fundación Centro Gallego de Investigaciones del agua, Fundación Privada and Centro Andaluz de Investigaciones del Agua, Fundación Privada and other companies of the Agbar Group by any means, including electronic means, provided that you grant us your consent through a box provided for this purpose on the website, and until you request us to stop doing so.

Please note that in order to send commercial information by electronic means we use third-party tracking technologies (specifically MailJet) that allow us to obtain information on the opening of e-mails and the clicking of links contained therein by the recipients, to measure the effectiveness of the campaigns and to know the information that interests you based on your interaction with our campaigns, to send you, based on your profile, related content. In this regard, we use technologies known as web beacons, invisible pixels and link alteration technologies. You have the right to object at any time to this data processing, including profiling, by the means set out in this document.”

3. For how long?

Your personal data will be processed for the main purposes for as long as they are necessary for the management of your request, enquiry or complaint; in case they are related to a contract you have with the company, they will be processed for the duration of the contractual relationship.

For the additional purposes of commercial promotion, and provided that you have authorised them, CETAQUA will process your data until you request that we stop doing so.

You may, of course, at any time request that we stop processing your data for additional purposes. To do so, simply send us a request as indicated in the “Rights of data subjects” section of this document.

In all cases, at the end of the periods indicated, your personal data will be kept blocked for the period during which any liabilities may arise from the performance of the contract or each purpose. When such liabilities expire, your personal data will be permanently deleted.

4. What is the legal basis for the treatment of your data?

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data for the mentioned purposes is the consent of the data subject, expressed through the corresponding boxes on the form. In any case, we inform you that you may revoke your consent at any time by the means indicated in the “Rights of data subjects” section of this document.

5. What security measures are in place to protect your personal data?

Your personal data will be treated in strictest confidence. Appropriate technical and organisational measures are in place to ensure the security of your personal data and to prevent their destruction, loss, illegal access or illegal alteration. 6. Are there other entities that may have access to your personal data to assist CETAQUA with any of the tasks?

– In the absence of such a declaration of adequacy, the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Commission have been signed.

7. Is your personal data shared with third parties?

CETAQUA does not communicate your personal data to third parties unless you give your consent or we are obliged to do so by law.

Where your consent is required to communicate your personal data to third parties, we will inform you on the data collection forms of the purpose of the processing, the data to be communicated, as well as the identity or sectors of activity of the possible assignees of your personal data.

CETAQUA may be obliged to communicate your personal data when required to do so by law or if it is required to do so by the Public Administration or State Security Forces.

The request must contain a copy of your ID card or another equivalent identification document, as well as the minimum content provided for in the applicable regulations. If the application does not meet the specified requirements, CETAQUA may require you to correct it.

9. Data Protection Officer.

FUNDACIÓN CETAQUA, CENTRO TECNOLÓGICO DEL AGUA, FUNDACIÓN PRIVADA, has designated a Data Protection Officer. You can contact him to make any enquiry about the processing of your data or to exercise any of the rights indicated in the previous section at the contact email address: dpo@cetaqua.com. Your request will be dealt with confidentially and answered by the Data Protection Officer.

10. Social networks

As a general rule, the corporate profiles of FUNDACIÓN CETAQUA, CENTRO TECNOLÓGICO DEL AGUA, FUNDACIÓN PRIVADA on social media (Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn etc.) are for information purposes only. If you provide us with data through private messages on social networks in connection with an enquiry or request made by this means, the personal data provided will be used exclusively to deal with the request made, in the terms set out in this Policy. We remind you that you should not include personal data about yourself or third parties (such as e-mails, name, telephone number or contract number) through open messages on any social media. If you are unsure whether or not your message can be read by third parties, we advise you to contact us through another channel.

This policy may be revised by CETAQUA at any time. Please remember to review it from time to time. If the modifications entail a substantial change in the processing of your data or your consent is required for any new processing, you will be informed about those changes in order to obtain your consent again in those cases where it is necessary.
